  • Ministry Reports

“God had opened our eyes to the need; and through prayer, research, and lots of people willing to pitch in, to date we have collected 1000s of plastic bags and processed them into 20+ sleeping mats for the homeless! These have been passed out 1 by 1 to people sleeping in the streets of KCMO. These not only help us show Christ’s Love, they also aid in building relationships with people in need! Thank you to everyone who has helped with this! I can’t tell you what it means to me or the people I’ve had the honor to give them to!”
    Mark

“The first round of coats arrived today!!! We have 13 coats for this round, and we will get the next 13 as soon as the rest of the donations come in. Thank you all so much!!!!! Keep spreading the word!”

The Road Mat Team is a small group of folks from The Road who meet at 6:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month to crochet sleeping mats for the homeless out of plastic shopping bags.
