Dear Church,
This year, 2018, is coming to a close. I hope that it has been a year of blessing for you. I hope that your growth in Jesus Christ has been steady, joyful, and filled with the fruit of righteousness. I have expressed numerous times but wish to do it again. My family is so very glad to serve the Lord alongside all the believers at The Road. I am looking forward to see what the Lord is going to do in 2019.
Now on to other things, many times in the e-newsletter devotional I begin with a quote from a Puritan pastor. It is no secret that I admire the knowledge, fervency, and sincerity that so often characterizes the lives and writings of the seventeenth-century English Puritans. I enjoy reading the Puritans, or at least, most of them. Their content and style can place more demands on the reader but, oh, is it worth it! Anyhow, if you are interested in reading a sample of the Puritans then please see me. I would love to give you a short Puritan paperback that might serve to bless you.
