Great talk! I was one who was longing for a Live Sermon from our Pastors, but God’s wisdom has once again proven to be greater than mine (as it always is). Many of us rely on others to ‘feed’ us the word; instead this is a time, an opportunity, for us to focus on our own abilities and desires to connect with God and his Word, and worship Him personally – to grow in our personal worship. It’s also an opportunity for us to lead, model and teach our families how to worship together and to strengthen and grow their personal worship as well.

This is truly a unique and life-altering opportunity to transform and exponentially grow our relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

May God bless the Road Church family and all Believers as we seek him with all of or heart.

I talked to a friend who lives alone and when asked how he was doing he referred to himself as being in his “cell”. This isolation is like being in prison or walking alone in the desert. I also live alone and I have to say the first 3 weeks haven’t been that difficult because I’m an introvert. But recently, with this isolation continuing, I’ve noticed feelings of fear and emptiness which has brought a greater hunger for God and more of a desire to feel His presence to reassure me. Without so many external distractions I find I’m more focused on God and my need for His presence keeping my soul thriving and reminding me that He is what I need to keep fear from overwhelming me! Of course, He’s always with me, but it’s times like this that makes me desire Him and His Word even more. I don’t like trials anymore than the next person but trials can bring you closer to God our Savior, Jesus Christ and through Him “Perfect Love casts out fear”!! Thank you Pastor Dale and Pastor Charles for ministering through this media. I look forward to it every Sunday. 🙂
